​While friendships are formed throughout Garden Club programs and activities, some of our most meaningful connections are made during field trips and special events. Members have wonderful opportunities to connect, explore, and build lasting relationships. Below are highlights of what these committees have to offer.

Field Trips

The Field Trip Committee plans a variety of enriching excursions throughout the Denver area, with occasional adventures across Colorado and beyond. Explore horticulture, arts, culture, history, and the natural world while enjoying the company of fellow Garden Club members and building lasting friendships.
Recent outings have included a tour of an award-winning vertical hydroponic farm, Opening Day at the polo field, a hands-on visit to an iris farm where members dug and selected their own irises, and holiday high tea at the historic Brown Palace. Whether you're eager to learn something new, discover unique destinations, or simply enjoy a day out with friends, our field trips offer memorable experiences for every interest.

Special Events

​The Special Events Committee plans memorable gatherings in beautiful venues, giving members an opportunity to socialize, celebrate, and enjoy a little glamour. We host three signature events each year, beginning with our Opening Season Tea in September, where members reconnect and look forward to the year ahead. In December, we celebrate the holidays with a festive luncheon to celebrate the season. We conclude our fiscal year in May with an elegant Fashion Show and Luncheon, featuring fashions from local boutiques and designers, modeled by our own members. These popular events are a favorite among members and often sell out quickly.
